Leave Second Skin On: <br /> o Your artist has applied Second Skin to your new tattoo. Leave the first bandage or <br /> for 3-z-days depending on your artist's recommendation and your heating process. <br /> 2. Removing Second Skin: <br /> o Gentl} peel off the Second Skin under warm running water to make it easier and <br /> less painful. <br /> o Clean he tattoo with mild, fragrance-free soap and warm water. Pat it dry with a <br /> clean paper towel. <br /> 3. Cleaning and Moisturizing: <br /> o Once the Second Skin is removed for the final time,continue to clean :he tattoo <br /> twice L day with mild,fragrance-free soap. <br /> o Apply a thin layer of a high-quality,fragrance-free moisturizer like cocoa or�hca <br /> butter,aquaphor or a&d.Avoid petroleum-based products. <br /> 4. General Care: <br /> o Avoid Submerging the tattoo in water(no swimming, baths, or hot tubs) for at <br /> least 2-3 weeks. <br /> o Avoid direct sunlight and tanning beds.After the tattoo is fully healed,always <br /> apply sunscreen to protect it. <br /> o Wear loose,clean clothing over the tattoo to avoid irritation. <br /> 5. Itching and Peeling: <br /> o Itching and light peeling are normal. Do not scratch or pick at the tattaD. <br /> o If itchi-ig is severe, gently tap on the area or apply a cold, damp cloth. <br /> .
