Hazleton Ave.
Stockton, CA 95205-6232
RECEIVED
OCT 07 2024
ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH
DEPARTMENT
RE: Tracy Inn Inc. Pool Permit No. PT0003080
Dear San Joaquin Environmental I lealth:
This correspondence concerns the pool operating permit for the commercial pool located at the Tracy Inn, 24 W. 11th St.,
Tracy, CA 95376. A copy of the permit (P10003080) is enclosed herein.
For many years, under the ownership/management of Tracy Inn Inc., the permit to operate the hotel pool has been active
and maintained. However, in the fall of 2022, after the very unexpected passing of the long-time Tracy Inn hotel
manager. Dino Margaros, the management of Tracy Inn Inc. made the decision to close down the hotel operation of Tracy
Inn Inc. Thus, while the commercial tenants within the Tracy Inn building remain open for business, the hotel pool has
been closed, locked and secured since the fall of 2022—with signs posted, clearly informing of the pool closure. Despite
pool closure, Tracy Inn Inc. continued to maintain the pool water chemistry. Senior Registered Environmental Health
Inspector Kadeanne Linhares has continued to come by annually to check on the status of the pool, including to document
that it remains closed and secured.
At this time, please be advised that the commercial real property commonly known as the Tracy Inn, located at 24 W. I I"
St., Tracy, CA has changed ownership, including but not limited to the hotel building and the pool. In turn, the prior
ownership, Tracy Inn Inc., is in the process of winding down. As part of the corporate wind down process, Tracy Inn Inc.
requests that the non-transferable pool permit be permanently cancelled and/or deactivated/revoked.
The new ownership is copied on this correspondence (contact: Ruben Sandoval) so that they are apprised of Tracy Inn
Inc.'s request to close out the existing permit, and also for contact purposes, so that they can affirm if/as necessary that the
pool is presently closed and/or "out of service" and so that they have the requisite contact information to reach out to your
entity for any new pool operation permit should they wish to reopen the pool down the road, depending on their own
plan(s) for the property. Thank you and please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions.
Enclosure: Tracy Inn Inc.
