Big Lots filed Chapter 11 Bankruptcy on September 9, 2024, and have closed all stores nationwide. <br /> Please review you Big Lots stores within your jurisdictions to ensure they have been properly closed out. Attached is a list <br /> of all the Big Lots stores that are still listed as "Applicable+Always". <br /> To close-out the facility records in CERS the Regulators will need to do the following: <br /> 1. Set the facilities' Reporting Requirements to "Not Applicable" -so that the facility is not viewed as being required <br /> to report going forward. <br /> o Using the "Facilities" Search, search by CERS ID number and select the facility,then select "Reporting <br /> Requirements" from the menu on the left, edit this page and set all reporting requirements to "Not Applicable". <br /> 2. Transfer the facilities to the Regulator's "Non-Regulated" Organization -in order archive the facility record. (Non- <br /> Regulated facilities will not be viewable from the CERS Business Portal.) <br /> o After setting the Reporting Requirements to "Not Applicable", select the "Manage Facility" link from the menu <br /> on the left,then select the "Transfer Facility to Another Business" link, and select the button on the following page <br /> labeled "Select Non-Regulated Facilities Organization".
