Any individual installing underground storage systems or components must possess, or work <br /> under the direct and personal supervision of an individual physically present at the work site at <br /> all times while work is being performed who possesses, all of the faliuwing: <br /> • One of Several permissible valid, current contractor licenses issued by the Contfactors <br /> State License Board ( SLE) <br /> • A currenl UST InstallationfRetrofitting certificate issues} by the International Code Council <br /> (ICC) <br /> A valid, current certificate of training frorn the manufacturer(s) of the component(s) being <br /> installed <br /> 5. Individuals working under the direct supervision of a qualified UST installer or UST service <br /> technician must, at a minimum. be employed by the person With the C LI3 license and possess <br /> all manufacturer certificates of training for the equipment on which they are working. <br /> 6. The lank owner or operator shall log into the California Environmental Reporting System <br /> (CEF2 ) at htlp:llcers-calepa-ca,gov) and ensure all UST information is current- <br /> 7, The tams owner or operator shall log into CE IRS and cornplete and submit a UST Certification of <br /> Installation{Mcdificati on for the E85 tank vviPiin 30 days. <br /> 8. All primary containment including any integral 8econdary containment must be crertified by an <br /> independent testing organization and labeled as required by the organization (UL, ULC, ANSI, <br /> API, A TM, etc.), See California Code of Regulations (CCR) Title 23. Chapter 16. Table B for a <br /> complete fist- <br /> 9- All secondary containment system which is not an integral part of the primary containment shall <br /> be designed and constructed according to an engineering specification approved by a state <br /> registered professional engineer or according to a nationally recognized industry code or <br /> engineering standard, per CCR 2 631(d)- <br /> 10. This permit expires 180 days from the date of approval.
