Date: 1/30/2026 <br /> Manufacturer training: ICC Install/Retrofit, 12/02/26 <br /> OVERALL INSPECTION NOTES AND COMMENTS <br /> NOTES <br /> On site to witness cleaning and inspection of Xerxes 10,000 gallon E85 tank by CGRS.While on site, reviewed Niko Retes <br /> certifications.A Xerxes tank certification was not available. Niko stated that he would ensure an individual certified in Xerxes <br /> tanks would be on site when tank is being repaired.A 16"x 16"hole was cut into the Xerxes tank to allow access.While on site <br /> contacted Stockton Fire Department to confirm that size of opening of the tank 16"X 17" and LEL level of 0 were acceptable, <br /> confirmed. During both tank entries the tank was vented into the atmosphere utilizing a compressor. Niko Retes stated that an <br /> Air Quality permit was not needed.While on site contacted San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District to verify that permit <br /> is not needed, awaiting response from Inspector Catalina.When arrived on site, LEL level of tank was at 4. Upon Entering the <br /> tank the oxygen level was at 20.8%and the LEL was at 0, according to Niko Retes. Cecil Kindle entered the tank to conduct <br /> cleaning portion of the tank inspection, entered with supplied air. Bo Bowman entered the tank after cleaning was completed, <br /> entered tank with air monitoring but no supplied air. Bowman conducted the inspection portion of the tank to verify integrity. <br /> Both Cecil Kindle and Bo Bowman were included in the confined space entry permit. 1 blue 55 gallon drum of Hazardous Waste <br /> was collected, containing waste fuel and sludge. Please be aware that all hazardous waste shall be disposed of under <br /> appropriate hazardous waste manifesting procedure[HSC 25160 (b)(3)].
