Contact the local fire district, the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District, and the local <br /> community development department for any applicable permits and requirements. <br /> 2. Any changes in information and scope of work must be submitted to EHD for written approval <br /> prior to commencing work. All new submittals supersede previous ones. <br /> 3. Email notification to ust(u�sigov.org to arrange the following inspection appointments. <br /> All appointments must be scheduled at least 48 hours in advance. <br /> a. Verification of overfill prevention: Measurement of drop tubes to verify 95% tank volume shut <br /> off. Ensure that all pertinent tank charts and calculations are available for review at the time <br /> of inspection. <br /> b. Verification that ball float(s), if installed, do not interfere with the installed flapper valve. <br /> c. Verification of proper installation of the float & chain under dispenser 7/8. <br /> The facility cannot deposit oil into the waste oil tank prior to the EHD inspection and approval. <br /> 4. Any individual performing the work of a service technician must possess, or work under the direct <br /> and personal supervision of an individual physically present at the work site at all times while <br /> work is being performed who possesses, all of the following: <br /> • One of several permissible valid, current contractor licenses issued by the CSLB <br /> • A current California UST Service Technician certificate issued by the ICC <br /> 1868 E.
