Tracy Blvd., Tracy 95304
The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) has completed the review of the
application for a permit to do the following on the underground storage tank (UST) system at the above
noted address:
• replace the direct-bury 87 spill container
The permit has been approved with the following conditions:
1. Contact the local fire district, the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District, and the local
community development department for any applicable permits and requirements.
2. Any changes in information and scope of work must be submitted to EHD for written approval
prior to commencing work. All new submittals supersede previous ones.
3. Email notification to ust(cDsigov.orq to arrange the following inspection appointments.
All appointments must be scheduled at least 48 hours in advance.
a. Spill bucket corrosion protection: Verify corrosion protection for direct bury spill bucket prior
to backfilling.
b. Spill bucket test, after concrete has set: Verify minimum 5-gallon capacity. Pass a one hour
hydrostatic test (or equivalent). Verify proper drainage method.
c. Since concrete will be broken near the 87 tank, a secondary containment test must be
performed on the 87 tank once concrete is poured in accordance with the manufacturer's
guidelines.
The facility cannot receive fuel in the 87 tank prior to the EHD inspection and approval.
4. Any individual installing underground storage systems or components must possess, or work
under the direct and personal supervision of an individual physically present at the work site at
all times while work is being performed who possesses, all of the following:
• One of several permissible valid, current contractor licenses issued by the Contractors
State License Board (CSLB)
1868 E.
