WP0040547
The Environmental Health Department recently reviewed the records for the address above and
found that a pump permit has not yet been obtained, and a water sample is still pending
• Lack of pump permit, to be obtained by owner or contractor.
(SJC Ord. Code, Section 9-1115.3. —Well/Pump Permit Required)
• Corrective Action: Obtain a pump permit. A double fee is required for conducting
work without a permit ($344). However, please pay the regular fee of $172 before
7/1/2025.
• Water Sampling needed:
The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) requires well sampling as part
of the permitting process for any new or replacement domestic well. The cost of sampling was included with the well
permit issuance and the area inspector will obtain the samples.
Please contact Aldara Salinas, Environmental Health Specialist at (209) 616-3019 or
asalinas@sjgov.org for any questions and for scheduling an appointment to obtain the water
samples.
Aldara Salinas, EHS
Area Inspector
1868 E.
