What should be your first operational priority? <br /> ISOLATE and Deny Entry — Evacuate or Shelter In-Place and account for <br /> everyone if possible/safe! <br /> What are the Initial Isolation and Protective Action Distances? <br /> 330 ft. upwind, uphill and or upstream for Public Safety <br /> 3. What notifications should be made if needed? <br /> NOTIFY: Plant, Management, 9-1-1 (Fire, HazMat, Ambulance & Police), <br /> IC Calls: Nat'l Response Center, State OES, County, and others as <br /> appropriate <br /> What FRA 's do NOT do: <br /> 4. What should be done next by others? <br /> Take Safe defensive actions if possible and safe! Done by mechanics using <br /> the buddy system from a safe upwind or non-risk area typically on the roof or <br /> in the engine room with proper PPE and Monitoring equipment! <br /> 5. What other defensive actions should be taken? <br /> Setup emergency decors and stage HazMat equipment! Be sure decors is setup <br /> upwind of the release and production can help with this if needed! <br />
