Basic Hazardous Waste Management <br /> Tank Assessments — LQGs <br /> • Tank assessments required for LQGs who accumulate <br /> hazardous waste in tanks: <br /> o Tank system and components certified by <br /> qualified professional engineer(PE) <br /> o Supported and protected from corrosion <br /> o Tested for tightness <br /> o Protected from settlement, expansion, or <br /> contraction <br /> o Must be completed prior to putting tank into <br /> service and then once every 5 years for new <br /> tanks <br /> Biennial Hazardous Waste Report-- LQGs <br /> • Required &certified by R%RA LQGs <br /> Report covers odd-numbered year <br /> e Amounts by waste code <br /> o Identify source & origin of waste <br /> o Identify disposal method (recycled, <br /> incinerated, etc.) <br /> o Waste minimization efforts <br /> • Due March 1"of following year(even year-2020) <br /> for waste generated prior year (odd year—2019) <br /> Disposal & Recycle Records <br /> • Manifests <br /> • Land disposal restriction forms <br /> • Consolidated manifests <br /> • Maintained for three years from date of shipment <br /> NATEC International, Inc.
