Isolate DenyEntry <br /> ❑ Utilize Established Evacuation Routes : <br /> — Evacuate to safe refuge area upwind of release: <br /> Be sure staff are yOT evacuated through or into the ammonia or <br /> other hazardous chemical release. <br /> Be sure that the safe refuge area can be safely evacuated if the <br /> wind shifts. <br /> — Use pre-designated routes and assembly area(s) based on <br /> wind direction and proximity to release and try to account <br /> for everyone if safe. <br /> — Deny re-entry to plant and area of release until it is <br /> declared safe to do so by the Incident Commander. <br /> — Remember: If it is not safe to evacuate Shelter In Place! <br /> Where is primary evacuation area located at your site/plant?
