ID numbers <br /> are unique to a business and site location. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Go to the DTSC web site at https://dtsc.ca.gov/apply-for-hazardous-waste-epa-id-number/to <br /> obtain an ID number. Immediately apply for your ID number and submit evidence to the San Joaquin County <br /> Environmental Health Department within 30 days. <br /> This is(Class 2)Violation. <br /> 2 CA Code of Regulations 66262.34(d)(2)3020001 -Employees thoroughly familiar with all waste handling and <br /> emergency procedures. <br /> OBSERVATION: At the time of inspection, it could not be demonstrated (not necessarily documented)that <br /> employees who handle hazardous waste were properly trained. Spoke with only employee on site- R. Yakobi,who <br /> described placing cloth on spills, placing that in a bag and putting in the dumpster. He also stated that he has not yet <br /> been formally trained and has requested training from employer. R. Yakobi was the only employee on site.At the time <br /> of inspection, he has been employed for 1 week. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: The business owner must ensure that all employees are thoroughly familiar with proper <br /> waste handling and emergency procedures, relevant to their responsibilities during normal facility operations and <br /> emergencies. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately train the employees.
