Transfer/Processing Facility Inspection Report (53) <br /> Lovelace Transfer Station (39-AA-0008) <br /> 12/20/2023 <br /> 1. Observed mixed waste outside the transfer station building. Mixed waste should be <br /> stored in the transfer station building. <br /> 2. Observed a few birds in the MRF. Observed screens that are in disrepair on north wall. <br /> Repair/replace screens so that screens cover openings. This item is currently being <br /> addressed. <br /> 3. The food separator was not in use at the time of inspection. Per operator when the food <br /> separator is in use the finished product is transported to Forward Resource & Recovery <br /> Facility. <br /> 4. Per operator, the food separator is in use Tuesdays and Fridays. <br /> 5. The operator stated that the last time the food separator as in operation was December <br /> 12, 2023. <br /> 6. Dust levels were low at the time of inspection. Misters were on during inspection. <br /> 7. Waste pile was moderate at the time of inspection. Keep pile height less than 12 feet. <br /> 8. The compactor was not in use during inspection. Be sure to operate the compactor in <br /> accordance with SWFP and TPR. <br /> 9. Records are maintained and up to date.
