All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public <br />health and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations (Title 22) section 65545. <br />VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br /> #10 Disinfectant Residual <br />OBSERVATIONS: Free chlorine is above 10 ppm. Adjust to 2 ppm to 10 ppm. Close pool until the corrections are made and <br />verified by this department. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Public pools, when open or in use, shall be disinfected continuously by approved chemicals and shall <br />maintain the following concentrations: 1.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine without cyanuric acid, 2.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine with <br />cyanuric acid or 2.0 ppm bromine. Spas, wading pools, and spray grounds shall maintain the following concentrations: 3.0 ppm to <br />10.0 ppm free chlorine or 4.0 ppm bromine. (CCR 65529) <br />This is (Major) Violation. <br />MAJOR <br /> #3 Safety Signs <br />OBSERVATIONS: The entrance gate lacked a "Keep Gate Closed" sign and the address and capacity are faded on the other <br />safety signs. All safety signs shall be posted. Correct today. (REPEAT) <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall keep safety signs well maintained. (CCR 65535) Safety signs shall have clearly legible <br />letters or numbers not less than 4 inches high, unless otherwise specified. Safety signs shall be affixed to a wall, pole, gate, or similar <br />permanent structure in a location visible to all pool users, unless otherwise specified. (CBC 3120B) <br />This is (Minor - Food) Violation. <br /> #13 Cyanuric Acid Concentration <br />OBSERVATIONS: Cyanuric acid is above 100 ppm. Adjust to below 100 ppm. Correct today. (REPEAT) <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall maintain cyanuric acid concentration between 0.0 ppm and 100 ppm. (CCR 65530) <br />This is (Minor - Food) Violation. <br /> #22 Skimmer Assembly <br />OBSERVATIONS: Both skimmers lacked weirs and the deep end skimmer lacked an o-ring. Install all parts to the skimmers <br />within one week. (REPEAT) <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool shall be equipped to provide continuous skimming of the pool water. All parts of the skimmer shall <br />be maintained in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
