Maintain the life <br />ring properly stored for use in case of an emergency. Correct today. <br />Corrected on site. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Safety equipment shall be provided, maintained, readily visible, and available for use. Pools shall have at <br />minimum one 12 foot fixed-length rescue pole with a permanently attached body hook and one 17-inch life ring with an attached throw <br />rope. Throw rope shall be of sufficient length to span the maximum width of the pool and shall be stored to prevent kinking or fouling. <br />(CCR 65540) <br />This is (Minor - Food) Violation. <br /> #7 Pool Deck <br />OBSERVATIONS: There is approximately a half inch gap in the pool deck above the south skimmer (missing junction piece). <br />Replace missing junction piece by 2 weeks. <br />REPEAT VIOLATION from 2023 <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: An unobstructed 4-foot wide deck of concrete or like material shall be provided and maintained flush with <br />the top of the pool coping. Deck shall extend completely around the pool and shall further extend 4 feet on both sides and to the rear of <br />any diving board, ADA device, or slide. (CBC 3114B) Pool operator shall keep the pool deck well maintained. (CCR 65535) <br />This is (Minor - Food) Violation. <br /> #8 Pool and Deck Lighting <br />OBSERVATIONS: The pool light is not functional. Repair the pool light to proper function by 2 weeks. <br />There shall be no swimming allowed after dark until the light and GFCI are restored to proper function. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pools used at night shall be equipped with underwater light fixtures that provide complete illumination of <br />the pool. When a pool is used at night, pool deck and emergency egress areas shall be provided with lighting. If underwater or deck <br />lighting is not operational, the pool operator shall post a sign in 4-inch letters stating "NO USE OF POOL ALLOWED AFTER DARK" and <br />shall secure the pool area and not permit any use of the pool after dark. (3115B) <br />This is (Minor - Food) Violation. <br /> #13 Cyanuric Acid Concentration <br />OBSERVATIONS: The cyanuric acid level of the pool is greater than 100ppm. Take action to reduce the cyanuric acid level of <br />the pool water to less than 100ppm. Correct by next pool season. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall maintain cyanuric acid concentration between 0.0 ppm and 100 ppm.
