All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public <br />health and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations (Title 22) section 65545. <br />VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br /> #12 pH Level <br />OBSERVATIONS: The pH of the pool is greater than 8.0. Take immediate action to reduce the pH of the pool water to the range <br />of 7.2 to 7.8 or face closure. <br />Approximately 3 cups of acid was added to the pool. pH was re-tested and remains greater than 8.0. <br />Pool shall remain closed until the pH is corrected to 7.2 to 7.8. Contact inspector when major violation has been corrected. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall maintain pH between 7.2 and 7.8. (CCR 65530) <br />This is (Major) Violation. <br />MAJOR <br /> #7 Pool Deck <br />OBSERVATIONS: There are some loose/broken coping stones on the north side of the pool deck (shallow end). Take action to <br />repair/replace by next pool season. <br />There are cracks in the pool deck on the north side of the pool deck. Fill in cracks so the pool deck is smooth. Correct by next <br />pool season. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: An unobstructed 4-foot wide deck of concrete or like material shall be provided and maintained flush with <br />the top of the pool coping. Deck shall extend completely around the pool and shall further extend 4 feet on both sides and to the rear of <br />any diving board, ADA device, or slide. (CBC 3114B) Pool operator shall keep the pool deck well maintained. (CCR 65535) <br />This is (Minor - Food) Violation. <br /> #17 Cleanliness of Pool <br />OBSERVATIONS: The bottom of the pool and the walls of the pool need to be cleaned. Clean by 3 days. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall maintain clean pool water while the pool is in use and shall not allow debris to <br />accumulate in the pool. Pool operator shall clean the bottom, sides, and other surfaces of the pool as often as necessary to keep pool <br />surfaces clean and free of slime and algae.
