He <br /> stated he believes sometimes the UST technician or DO take it off site for disposal. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: The business owner must ensure that all employees are thoroughly familiar with proper <br /> waste handling and emergency procedures, relevant to their responsibilities during normal facility operations and <br /> emergencies. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately train the employees. Provide proof of training within 30 days to the San Joaquin <br /> County Environmental Health Department(EHD)for employees whose responsibilities include hazardous waste. <br /> This is(Class 2)Violation. <br /> 6 CA Code of Regulations 66262.40(a)3010010- Signed copy of Uniform Hazardous Waste Manifest kept for 3 years. <br /> OBSERVATION: The business operator could not provide hazardous waste disposal records for the past three years <br /> during the inspection. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: A hazardous waste generator shall keep a copy of each manifest signed in accordance <br /> with section 66262.23(a)for three years or until the generator receives a signed copy from the designated facility <br /> which received the waste.This signed copy shall be retained as a record for at least three years from the date the <br /> waste was accepted by the initial transporter. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Provide a copy of disposal records for the past three years from 2/5/2022 thru 2/5/2025 for all <br /> hazardous waste. Provide these records and a corrective action statement to the EHD within 30 days. <br /> This is (Class 2)Violation. <br /> 48 CA Code of Regulations 66262.34(d)(2)3010022-Posted emergency information next to the telephone. <br /> OBSERVATION: Modified contingency plan information was not posted at the facility. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: The business operator must post the following information next to telephones or in areas <br /> directly involved in the generation and accumulation of hazardous waste: the name and emergency telephone number <br /> of the emergency coordinator, the location of fire extinguishers and spill control material, and the telephone number of <br /> the fire department unless the facility has a direct alarm. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: The violation was corrected during the inspection by Manager Ray who completed a new copy <br /> and posted it near the cashier counter.
