The hazardous waste generator must submit a copy of the manifest to <br /> the California Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC)within 60 days if the destination facility signed manifest <br /> copy is not received from the transporter or designated facility. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: This was corrected on site. Signed copies were obtained from the DTSC Waste Tracking site <br /> during the inspection. <br /> This is a repeat violation (Class 2) Violation. <br /> 68 CA Health and Safety Code 25404.1.2 3010-Administration/Documentation-General. <br /> OBSERVATION:This business did not provide a written response to the inspection report dated May 26, 2021 within <br /> 30 days. The report was delivered to the business on June 1, 2021 and response was due by July 1, 2021. Return to <br /> compliance was not received until October 6, 2021 and December 29, 2021. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: The operator of the site or facility which receives an inspection report shall submit a <br /> written response to the department or the local officer or agency authorized to enforce this chapter pursuant to <br /> subdivision (a)of Section 25180 within 60 days of receipt of the inspection report, or within a shorter time as the <br /> department or the local officer or agency may reasonably require,which shall include a statement documenting <br /> corrective actions taken by the operator or proposing corrective actions which will be taken by the operator,for <br /> purposes of compliance with this chapter, or disputing the existence of the violation.
