The project proposes a gas station, coffee shop, and truck dispatching office on the <br /> north side of SR 120, west of Comconex Road. This is in response to your email of March 4, 2026 <br /> proposing to move the building 20 feet east to eliminate the possibility of the drive-thru. The <br /> Department has the following comments: <br /> 1) Caltrans has no objection to County approval of this project. The following items can be <br /> submitted when the project applies for an Encroachment Permit. <br /> 2) The driveway width will depend on the design vehicle for the project. Re-run the truck <br /> turning movements as shown in the image. The lateral clearance between the truck <br /> wheels and the curb/gutter must be a minimum of three (3) feet. Therefore, please submit <br /> a revised plan that demonstrates the driveway can accommodate the proposed truck <br /> without utilizing the entire frontage as an opening.
