All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public <br />health and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations (Title 22) section 65545. <br />VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br /> #1 Pool Gates <br />OBSERVATIONS: Entrance gate lacks a latch. Install a latch and ensure that gate is self-latching and self-closing. Keep pool <br />closed until corrected and verified by this department. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Gates and doors leading into the pool area shall be equipped with self-closing self-latching devices. <br />Self-latching devices shall be designed to keep the gate or door securely closed. Gates and doors shall open outward from the pool <br />area except where otherwise prohibited by law. (CBC 3119B) Pool operator shall keep gates and doors leading into the pool area well <br />maintained. (CCR 65535) <br />This is (Major) Violation. <br />MAJOR <br /> #22 Skimmer Assembly <br />OBSERVATIONS: Skimmers lack weirs. Install all parts to the skimmers within three days. (REPEAT) <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool shall be equipped to provide continuous skimming of the pool water. All parts of the skimmer shall <br />be maintained in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
