COU I\J T — <br />SAN JOAQUIN <br />Environmental Health Department <br />4_ Individuals installing underground storage tank system components must possess or work <br />under the direct and personal supervision of an individual physicsrUy present at the work site <br />who possesses all of the f011owing-1 <br />a. A valid, current contractor's license issued by the Contractors State License Board <br />b_ A valid, current UST InstallationlRetrofitting certificate issued by the International Code <br />Council {IC} <br />c. A valid, current certificate of training from the manufacturer(s) of the component(s) <br />being installed <br />5. Individuals working under the direct supervision of a qualified UST installer or LIST service <br />technician must, at a minimum, be employed by the person with the C LB license and possess <br />all manuf2acturer c:e r-tif i cates of training for the equipment on which they are working, <br />5. The tank owner or operator shall log into the California Environmental Reporting System <br />(CER ) at http;llcers.calepa. ca. govt and ensure a I I UST inforrnation is current_ <br />7. All components must be certified by an independent testing organization and labeled as <br />required by the organization (UL, ULC, ANSI, API, ASTM, etc.). See California Code of <br />Regulations (CCI) Title 23, Chapter 16, Table B for a complete list_ <br />8. Permit expires 180 days from the date of approval. If an extension to the expiration date is <br />required, a written request rnust be submitted to ust(d-�sigov.org_ prior to the expiration state_ <br />9. Failure to comply with the listed conditions may result in additional fees or violations. <br />10_ Additional inspections may be conducted by the EHD.
