During the inspection, Store Manager Sahil Kumar stated he was not familiar with the <br /> emergency coordinators for the site and was not sure how to contact them. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: The business owner must ensure that all employees are thoroughly familiar with proper <br /> waste handling and emergency procedures, relevant to their responsibilities during normal facility operations and <br /> emergencies. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately train the employees. Provide proof of training within 30 days to the San Joaquin <br /> County Environmental Health Department(EHD)for employees whose responsibilities include hazardous waste. <br /> This is(Class 2)Violation. <br /> 51 CA Code of Regulations 66262.34(d)(2)3030034-Tests and maintains all required safety equipment at the facility. <br /> OBSERVATION:The eyewash equipment displayed an expiration date of January 2025. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE:All facility communications or alarm systems,fire protection equipment, spill control <br /> equipment, and decontamination equipment,where required, shall be tested and maintained as necessary to assure <br /> its proper operation in time of emergency. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Bring the eyewash equipment into proper working order by replacing the expired eyewash. <br /> Provide a corrective action statement to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department within 30 days. <br /> This is (Class 2)Violation. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br /> documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br /> paperwork, by June 27, 2025. <br /> Wastes generated by this facility: <br /> -gasoline contaminated solids <br /> -gasoline contaminated liquids <br /> To minimize person to person contact EHD is choosing to write the name of person receiving the report instead of <br /> having them sign.
