2. We immediately processed a permit application to upgrade the monitor to a TLS-450+
and submitted the application on 8/7/25.
3. Upon further investigation, some issues were brought to light regarding the TLS-450+:
1. There is no support for land line fax modems.
2. Veeder Root models no longer support any kind of standard communication
protocol such as bacnet or Modbus.
3. The soon to be released Title 23 rewrite will require unmanned sites to have remote
alarm monitoring.
4. During the discussion regarding changing monitor panel manufacturer, our permit
coordinator reached out to San Joaquin County EHD and was informed to proceed with
processing permit for Veeder Root TLS-450+ and an equipment addendum could be
submitted later if it was decided to move forward with a different monitoring panel.
5. Upon further discussion with the customer, it was decided to proceed with the installation
of the Pneumercator monitoring panel given the above issues.
6. Our permit coordinator was informed of submittal requirements for this change.
7. Amended permit application was submitted 10/13/25.
8. Approved permit was received 10/23/25.
At this point, we are waiting on receipt of the Pneumercator. I have attached ongoing
correspondence with our vendor in getting this order processed. We have been actively
working on this since 10/9/25. As of this morning, we are waiting on Pneumercator to provide us
with a current ETA for the monitor. It is my hope we will receive the monitoring panel within the
next couple of weeks. I will continue to follow up on them in hopes of moving this along and
getting a firm ship date. As soon as we are in receipt of the monitor, we will get this scheduled
and I will submit notification for the final inspection.
Please feel free to let me know if you have any questions or if there is any other information you
may need.
Thank you and have a great weekend.
Tanya Kater
Service Coordinator
SUNWES :
Direct: 909.970.1150 Cell 909.925.8522 Main: 888.588.8737 ext 8021 Fax: 909.594.6169
4780 Cheyenne Way, Chino, CA 91710
www.sunwestengineering.com
E* Square • ■ Y#SA 40
