Air Monitoring <br />X Air monitoring is required for the following tasks: <br />Required Monitoring Instruments, Action Levels and Monitoring Frequency (menus are not automated) <br />LEL/O2 Meter <br />x <br />* Ceiling or STEL value <br />There are no atmospheric chemical, radiological, or particulate hazards on this project requiring air monitoring. <br />Air monitoring is the responsibility of the client or subcontractor. <br />Sampling - Soil sampling using mechanical methods <br />Air monitoring plan is for assessment only during soil vapor sampling, in a controlled helium shroud with a PID <br />(detection of VOCs) and Landtech (detects methane, carbon dioxide, and oxygen). If any subsurface activity is to <br />be conducted at the landfill then methane becomes a constituent of interest and a 4-gas meter will need to be <br />added to the program. Soil vapor sampling technical guidance document attached for further detail on air <br />assessment during sampling.
