Contact the local fire district, the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District, and the local community <br /> development department for applicable permits. <br /> 2. Any changes from the approved UST installation packet shall be submitted to the EHD for written <br /> approval rior to commencing work, including changes in contractor, equipment, system layout, <br /> etc.All new submittals supersede any previous ones. <br /> 3. Any individual installing underground storage systems or components must possess, or work under the <br /> direct and personal supervision of an individual physically present at the work site at all times while work <br /> is being performed who possesses, all of the following: <br /> • One of several permissible valid, current contractor licenses issued by the Contractors State <br /> License Board (CSLB) <br /> • A current UST Installation/Retrofitting certificate issued by the International Code Council (ICC) <br /> • A valid, current certificate of training from the manufacturer(s) of the component(s) being installed <br /> 4. Any individual performing the work of a service technician must possess, or work under the direct and <br /> personal supervision of an individual physically present at the work site at all times while work is being <br /> performed who possesses, all of the following: <br /> • One of several permissible valid, current contractor licenses issued by the CSLB <br /> • A current California UST Service Technician certificate issued by the ICC <br /> • A valid, current certificate of training from the manufacturer(s) of the component(s) being tested, or <br /> the developer of the testing equipment or test method(s) being used <br /> 5. Individuals working under the direct supervision of a qualified UST installer or UST service technician must, <br /> at a minimum, be employed by the person with the CSLB license and possess all manufacturer certificates <br /> of training for the equipment on which they are working. <br /> 1868 E.
