PRODUCT SPECIFICATION <br />Dispenser Mounting Assembly (DMA) <br /> <br />The Dispenser Mounting Assembly Containment System is installed in conjunction with the <br />product dispenser and in accordance to the manufacturer’s installation instructions. The <br />Dispenser Mounting Containment System shall contain environmentally hazardous fluids that <br />might leak from any piping terminations, fittings and flex-hoses that may be contained within <br />the Dispenser Mounting Containment System. Using mounting systems for both dispenser <br />base and safety valves, the Dispenser Mounting Containment Assembly shall insure the safety <br />valve poppet activation occurs in the event of a dispenser knockdown without damage to either <br />mount frame system. This system shall be manufactured by Western Fiberglass, Inc. <br /> <br />1.01 The Dispenser Mounting Containment System shall: <br />A.Provide secure, independent mounting assemblies for both the dispenser base and <br />shear valve that shall be anchored in concrete for transfer of stress and loading. <br />Shearing shall occur at the shear valve upon dispenser impact without damage to the <br />mounting frameworks. <br />B. Provide a means to prevent surface or ground water runoff from entering the <br />containment system. <br />C. Contain any release of environmental contaminants from the dispenser and/or fitting <br />contained within the Dispenser Mounting Containment System. <br />D. Provide full access to all piping terminations, fittings and hoses contained within the <br />Dispenser Mounting Containment System. <br />E. Accommodate an explosion/flame suppressant barrier to prevent flash fire. <br />F. Be constructed of UL Listed, fuel resistant materials. <br /> <br />1.02 Construction Specifications: <br />A. Meet or exceed United States National Bureau of Standards PS-15-69 for Custom <br />Contact-Molded Reinforced-Polyester Chemical-Resistant Process Equipment or UL <br />Listing specifications if applicable. <br />B. Be constructed of materials not harmful to the environment. <br />C. Be suitable for petroleum products and blends including methanol and ethyl alcohol <br />mixtures. <br />D. Have a thirty (30) year warranty against corrosion. <br /> <br />1.03 Release Monitoring shall: <br />A. Allow full visual inspection of all piping reductions, fittings and hoses. <br /> <br />1.04 Piping Penetrations shall: <br />A. Provide locations for the installation of fluid tight pipe and conduit penetration seals to <br />be installed according to manufacturer’s installation instructions. <br />Questions?
