Method - The buoyancy calculations will use the soil over and around a tank and deadmen acting to hold the tank <br />in the ground with water grade to offset the buoyancy of an empty tank. in addition to the weight of the soil directly <br />over the tank and deadmen, wedges of soil will also be used on the sides of the tank and.or the deadmen. the <br />calculations will use a soil wedge angle based on actual testing.
