North County RC&SL Page 35 of 64 Public Works/Solid Waste <br />Joint Technical Document County of San Joaquin – Revised July 14, 2025 <br />Active Landfill Disposal Area (during days in which refuse is disposed): <br /> <br />• Solid Waste Recovery Supervisor or Equipment Operator Foreman- 1 <br />• Equipment Operator II - 5 <br />• Solid Waste Recovery Worker - 1 <br />• Cashier Clerk - 2 <br /> <br />Active area landfill staff normally work 40 hours per week, working either four 10-hour days or five <br />8-hour days per week. <br /> <br />6.2.3 Personnel Training <br />Site personnel receive the following training (Also see Appendix J): <br /> <br />• First Aid/CPR <br />• Traffic Directing <br />• Hazardous Waste Identification (load checking) <br />• Equipment Operation <br />• Emergency Preparedness <br />• Emergency Response <br /> <br />In addition to the training listed above, a weekly safety meeting is given for all employees. <br />Records of the minutes of the meeting and the attendants are kept onsite. <br /> <br />6.2.4 Supervision <br />The North County Recycling Center and Sanitary Landfill organizational chart is shown on <br />Plate 15. <br />
