To: SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH DEPARTMENT
Sub: Boring Permit Application—2546 French Camp Turnpike, Stockton, CA
A Phase II Subsurface Investigation Proposal dated September 20, 2021, proposing the field
activities to collect groundwater samples from three soil borings was prepared by Fulcrum
Resources Environmental. The objective of drilling and sampling of groundwater in the soil
borings is to investigate subsurface conditions at the subject property. The proposed soil
boringlocations are shown on Figure 1.
Direct push drilling equipment will be utilized to advance borings to 3 feet below first
groundwater at approximately 25 feet (bgs). Borehole groundwater samples will be
collected via temporary monitoring wells using dedicated Teflon and Masterflex tubing and
a low-flow peristaltic pump. Following collection of samples, all boreholes will be backfilled
with neat cement, using a tremie if over 30 feet, and restored to pre-drilling condition by
applying patching materials.
Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact Mr. Forest Kan at
forest@frenviro.com.
Sincerely,
Forest Kan
Staff Geologist, Fulcrum Resources Environmental
ATTACHMENT
FIGURE 1 SITE MAP WITH PROPOSED LOCATIONS
• — r Fulcrum Resources Environmental
