Preparing for an Inspection la. FALL: 1a. Clear the area of loose garbage and debris. Inspect 55- <br /> of the Drum Tripping/falling due to uneven gal drums for proper condition, labeling, check drum <br /> surface. Loose ring and bolts for tightness, and inspect mobile drum <br /> debris/garbage in the work carrier. <br /> area. la. Do a Test Lift to get a general sense of the weight of <br /> the drum. <br /> 1 a. Inspect and use established pathways to avoid uneven <br /> terrain,weather-related hazards(i.e., debris, puddles, <br /> ice, etc.), and other obstructions. <br /> 1a. Secure a work area and coordinate and communicate <br /> the planned work activities with other personnel working <br /> in the area. <br /> 1a. Delineate work area with safety cones and caution tape <br /> 1b. CONTACT/EXPOSURE: 1b. Prior to inspecting drums, don cut-resistant gloves.
