Select and Don PPE - Improper PPE Verify that the area to be accessed is NOT a confined space <br />otherwise review the specific AHA for Confined Space Entry, as <br />atmospheric conditions must be pre-tested and proper level of <br />PPE must be determined. <br />L <br />2. Set-up Work Zone - Insect bites or stings (mosquitoes, <br />bees, ticks) <br />- Slips/Trips/Falls <br />- Unauthorized Entry <br />- Traffic struck-by <br />1. Visually scan the area and stay clear of flying insects <br />(bees/wasps/hornets) and for the presence of snakes. <br />2. Watch where you walk, beware of uneven or slippery <br />surfaces, step cautiously over high curbs, wear boots with <br />adequate tread and a raised heel, make sure tools materials and <br />equipment is staged out of the path of travel. <br />3. Delineate work area using physical barrier(s) such as caution <br />tape or temp fencing and signage to prevent entry. Non-ICS <br />personnel must not enter. <br />4.
