Keep a firm grip on handles when compacting material, keep <br />a small amount of space between compactor and your body and <br />feet, wear Metatarsal guards over work boots to prevent feet <br />from impact. <br />2. Maintain control of the Vibe Plate, keep your mind engaged in <br />the task, work in the most comfortable body positioning as <br />possible, take regular breaks, Stop if the task becomes too <br />strenuous. <br />3. Establish work cycles of no more than 30 minutes before <br />taking a break or having another crewmember assist. <br />4. Spray small amounts of water to suppress dust when <br />compacting soil. <br />5.
