Do not attempt to operate <br />equipment to perform functional test if there is obvious physical damage or hydraulic leaks. Contact <br />the ICS Dispatcher for further guidance. <br />2. Minimum safe distance from bucket is 15-feet away. <br />3. Be aware of your surroundings, visually scan work areas for uneven surfaces/terrain, watch where <br />you walk, keep materials, tools, and equipment staged out of the way, practice good housekeeping. <br />L <br />470 Model Excavator <br />2. Visually scan for overhead hazards and keep equipment a minimum distance of 15-feet away. <br />2. Call 811 before you dig, physically verify the location and depth of existing utilities prior to starting <br />excavation through geophysical and utility survey, review as-built/historical drawings, <br />protect all existing utilities during excavation as soil is removed, Hand dig/excavate or utilize non- <br />aggressive methods when working within 2-feet of existing utilities. Request utility companies or <br />owners to determine the location of underground utility installations before excavating. <br />M <br />3.
