Rigging of oil Tank to <br />Equipment <br />- Unsecured Load 1. Use straps and shackles that are properly rated for the load <br />being moved. Do not use rigging gear that is broken, frayed or <br />compromised in anyway. Check all connection points at tank and <br />lift points on equipment. Fasten shackles to lifting eyes on tank. <br />M <br />2. Secure Work Zone - Insect bites or stings (mosquitoes, bees, <br />ticks) <br />- Overhead utilities (electrical, gas, <br />water, etc.) <br />- Slips/Trips/Falls <br />- Trucks, tractors, and semi-trailers <br />1. Be aware of any insects that may be present. Stay away from <br />nests. <br />2. Be aware of truck or equipment traffic, Do not work with your <br />back towards traffic. Use cones delineators, barricades and <br />caution tape and signage to establish perimeter. <br />3. Visually inspect area to ensure no overhead hazards exist. <br />4. Visually scan the area for hazards, be aware of uneven <br />surfaces, watch where you walk, wear boots with adequate <br />tread. <br />M <br />3.
