<br />3 <br /> <br /> <br />I. Introduction <br /> <br />Innovative Construction Solutions (ICS) has developed and implemented this written <br />Injury and Illness Prevention Program (IIPP) as part of our Health and Safety program. <br />The work performed by ICS personnel is varied, both in nature and location. Under all <br />circumstances, it is the intent of ICS to: 1) comply with the requirements and spirit of <br />the California Code of Regulations, Title 8; and 2) provide a safe and healthful work <br />environment for employees. <br /> <br />This IIPP complies with Senate Bill 198, Labor Code 6401.7, and CCR Title 8, Section <br />3203. ICS requires all employees to follow this program to ensure safety and regulatory <br />compliance. <br /> <br />II. Responsible Person <br /> <br />The ICS Health and Safety Director is responsible for implementing the IIPP, evaluating <br />hazards, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance. Project Managers, Engineers, <br />and Site Safety Officers are responsible for job site adherence. <br /> <br />Duties include identifying hazards, correcting unsafe conditions, ensuring effective <br />communication, and maintaining documentation in line with CCR Title 8. <br />In addition, the project manager, project engineer, and/or site safety officer has the <br />Responsibility and authority at the job site to ensure compliance with the IIPP and Code <br />of Safe Practices. <br />The duties of the Health and Safety Director are to: <br /> <br />• Identify and evaluate workplace hazards and include procedures for investigating <br />occupational <br />injuries and illnesses.
