<br />67 <br /> <br />12.0 CONFINED SPACE ENTRY PROCEDURES <br /> <br /> <br />Although it is not anticipated for this project, all confined operations must be performed <br />following ICS procedures and the requirements of T8 CCR, Article 108, Confined Spaces. <br /> <br />If site activities will include the entry of permit-required confined spaces [as defined in T8 CCR <br />§5157(b)], the following provisions will apply: <br /> <br />• ICS will implement a confined space plan as an addendum to this HASP. <br />• A formalized permit system must be used to affect entry into any confined space. <br />• A dedicated entry permit must be completed for each space following the requirements <br />of T8 CCR §5157(f). <br />• Only individuals trained in confined space entry per T8 CCR §5157(g) shall be allowed to <br />participate in such activities. <br />• Authorized entrants, attendants, and entry supervisors shall understand the hazards <br />posed to them and their responsibilities per T8 CCR §5157(h), (I), and (j), respectively. <br />• The Client shall provide information regarding facility-identified confined spaces and <br />• Rescue and emergency service provisions shall be discussed under T8 CCR §5157(k). <br />
