Hazleton Avenue <br /> Stockton, CA 95205 <br /> Project: PA-2500151, Conditional Use Permit - Confucius Church of Stockton <br /> District CEQA Reference No: 20251360 <br /> Dear Ms. Goulart: <br /> The San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District (District) has reviewed the <br /> Conditional Use Permit (CUP) from the County of San Joaquin (County) for the project <br /> described above. Per the CUP, the project consists of the expansion of an existing 5.39 <br /> acre cemetery onto the adjacent 3.9 acre parcel to include more gravesites, 28 <br /> additional parking spaces, and a 147 square foot restroom (Project). The Project is <br /> located at 202 W. Matthews Road in French Camp, CA. <br /> The District offers the following comments at this time regarding the Project: <br /> 1) Proiect Related Emissions <br /> At the federal level under the National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS), the <br /> District is designated as extreme nonattainment for the 8-hour ozone standards and <br /> serious nonattainment for the particulate matter less than 2.5 microns in size <br /> (PM2.5) standards.
