All rights reserved. <br /> <br /> 8 oz./synthetic nonwoven geotextile separator/filter <br /> Drainage layer: <br />o Base: 0.75-foot-thick gravel drainage layer with leachate collection troughs with <br />4-inch-diameter piping <br />o Side slopes: geocomposite drain layer with nonwoven geotextile separator/filter <br /> 60-mil HDPE geomembrane <br /> Geosynthetic clay liner (GCL) on prepared surface <br /> 1-foot thick prepared subgrade (base only). <br />Module 1 was constructed in two phases. The first phase of approximately 34 acres was <br />completed in 2003. The second phase of approximately six acres was completed in 2006. A <br />portion of the liner installed in the second phase was placed over refuse of Module “I” at the <br />request of CVRWQCB staff. <br />Module 2A construction was completed in September 2015. The CVRWQCB issued interim <br />approval to place waste on October 14, 2015. Module 2A is a lined Subtitle D unit constructed <br />similar to Module 1 above. <br />Module 2B construction was completed in fall of 2019. Final approval and authorization to initiate <br />disposal operations was issued August 20, 2020. Module 2B is a lined Subtitle D unit constructed <br />similar to Module 1 above. However, for Module 2B a geocomposite drain layer was used in lieu <br />of the gravel drainage layer. <br />Modules 3 through 10 are future modules identified in the Master Plan and Joint Technical <br />Document.
