SC 907 <br /> Called the sheriff's office(209-468-4400) at 4:08 AM(2 min):spoke to David <br /> Morrow. He said there is an unknown amount of hydraulic oil spilled from a crane <br /> at Union Pacific Railroad and the spill has not touched the ground. The contact <br /> person is Andrea at Union Pacific (888-877-7267). The reference number is <br /> 2018-10-06-069-AMH. <br /> Called the county hospital (209-468-6677)at 4:12 AM(1 min): they provided the <br /> same information as the sheriff's office. <br /> Called Andrea Hiracheta at 4:14 AM(6 min):There was a broken hydraulic line on <br /> a crane at 3:14 AM. The hydraulic oil leaked onto the container that the crane was <br /> lifting. The leak stopped and the hydraulic oil did not hit the ground. 15 bags of <br /> kitty litter was used to clean up the spill. National Response Center Environmental <br /> (NRC)will be there by 10:00 AM. She does not know who the responsible party is <br /> at this time. <br /> Called M. Naidu at 4:22 AM(2 min): he said I can respond in the morning when <br /> NRC is almost done cleaning the spill. <br /> Called Andrea at 4:25 AM(3 min): notified her that I will be out there when NRC is <br /> done cleaning. She said to call back before 10:00 AM to check the status. <br /> Total call time: 14 min <br /> REF spill report Cal OES Control#: 18-6776 <br /> 10/06/2018 Called Union Pacific(888-877-7267) at 9:37 AM(6 min):was transferred to Paul PE 2546 HUYNH <br /> 6 min Holt. He said NRC arrived on site at 8:00 AM. He said there was some hydraulic SC 907 <br /> oil that hit the ground but the majority was on the container. He still doesn't know <br /> the exact amount spilled but he estimates it was about 20-30 gallons.
