The following is an itemized list of CP22 - HW SQG violations that have not been <br /> addressed for Altamont Corridor Express Maintenance Facility as of September 25, <br /> 2025. <br /> Open violations from May 22, 2025 inspection <br /> Violation#2-3020001 -Employees thoroughly familiar with all waste handling and emergency procedures. <br /> OBSERVATION: At the time of inspection, it could not be demonstrated (not necessarily documented)that <br /> employees who handle hazardous waste were properly trained. <br /> -Staining was observed adjacent to the tracks at the train fueling area.When asked how small spills are addressed, <br /> the facility Superintendent stated that the spills are allowed to enter the grates that drain to the oil water separator. <br /> -Superintendent Tremaine stated that he was unaware of what happened to used fuel filters from the emergency <br /> generator or used absorbent after cleanup of minor spills. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: The business owner must ensure that all employees are thoroughly familiar with proper <br /> waste handling and emergency procedures, relevant to their responsibilities during normal facility operations and <br /> emergencies. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately train the employees. Provide proof of training within 30 days to the San Joaquin <br /> County Environmental Health Department(EHD)for employees whose responsibilities include hazardous waste. <br /> ❑ This violation was corrected ❑This violation will be corrected by(date): <br /> ❑ Supporting documents included <br /> Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation: <br /> Violation#6-3010010-Signed copy of Uniform Hazardous Waste Manifest kept for 3 years. <br /> OBSERVATION: The business operator could not provide hazardous waste disposal records for the past three years <br /> during the inspection. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: A hazardous waste generator shall keep a copy of each manifest signed in accordance <br /> with section 66262.23(a)for three years or until the generator receives a signed copy from the designated facility <br /> which received the waste. This signed copy shall be retained as a record for at least three years from the date the <br /> waste was accepted by the initial transporter. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Provide a copy of disposal records for the past three years, 5/22/22 through 5/22/25,for all <br /> hazardous waste. Provide these records and a corrective action statement to the EHD within 30 days. <br /> ❑ This violation was corrected ❑This violation will be corrected by(date): <br /> ❑ Supporting documents included <br /> Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation: <br /> Page 1 of 5 <br />
