The following is an itemized list of CP22 - HW SQG violations that have not been addressed for Altamont Corridor Express Maintenance Facility as of September 25, 2025. Open violations from May 22, 2025 inspection Violation#2-3020001 -Employees thoroughly familiar with all waste handling and emergency procedures. OBSERVATION: At the time of inspection, it could not be demonstrated (not necessarily documented)that employees who handle hazardous waste were properly trained. -Staining was observed adjacent to the tracks at the train fueling area.When asked how small spills are addressed, the facility Superintendent stated that the spills are allowed to enter the grates that drain to the oil water separator. -Superintendent Tremaine stated that he was unaware of what happened to used fuel filters from the emergency generator or used absorbent after cleanup of minor spills. REGULATION GUIDANCE: The business owner must ensure that all employees are thoroughly familiar with proper waste handling and emergency procedures, relevant to their responsibilities during normal facility operations and emergencies. CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately train the employees. Provide proof of training within 30 days to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department(EHD)for employees whose responsibilities include hazardous waste. ❑ This violation was corrected ❑This violation will be corrected by(date): ❑ Supporting documents included Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation: Violation#6-3010010-Signed copy of Uniform Hazardous Waste Manifest kept for 3 years. OBSERVATION: The business operator could not provide hazardous waste disposal records for the past three years during the inspection. REGULATION GUIDANCE: A hazardous waste generator shall keep a copy of each manifest signed in accordance with section 66262.23(a)for three years or until the generator receives a signed copy from the designated facility which received the waste. This signed copy shall be retained as a record for at least three years from the date the waste was accepted by the initial transporter. CORRECTIVE ACTION: Provide a copy of disposal records for the past three years, 5/22/22 through 5/22/25,for all hazardous waste.
