The following is an itemized list of CP22 - HW SQG violations that have not been <br /> addressed for Altamont Corridor Express Maintenance Facility as of September 25, <br /> 2025. <br /> Open violations from May 22, 2025 inspection <br /> Violation#53-3030030-Maintains and operates the facility to minimize the possibility of <br /> fire/explosion/release. <br /> OBSERVATION: Staining was observed adjacent to the tracks at the train fueling area.When asked how small spills <br /> are addressed,the facility Superintendent stated that the spills are allowed to enter the grates that drain to the oil <br /> water separator. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE:A hazardous waste generator must maintain and operate its facility to minimize the <br /> possibility of a fire, explosion, or any unplanned sudden or non-sudden release of hazardous waste or hazardous <br /> waste constituents to air, soil, or surface water which could threaten human health or the environment. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately stop allowing spills to enter the drains that plumb to the oil/water separator. <br /> Address spills and leaks immediately with appropriate cleanup measures. Manage the waste according to Title 22 <br /> California Code of Regulations for hazardous waste.
