Compostable Materials Handling Operation and Facility Inspection <br /> Report (93) <br /> Forward Resource Recovery Facility (39-AA-0020) <br /> 7/24/2025 <br /> Notes: <br /> 1. A Republic Service strike began on July 7, 2025 and ended on July 18, 2025. The compost <br /> facility was operating during the strike and accepting green waste. The strike was <br /> documented in the Special Occurrence log. <br /> 2. Odors and track out were light. <br /> 3. Vectors were light. Bait stations were observed and functional. <br /> 4. The following temperatures were measured during the inspection: <br /> • Incoming green waste was 112°F. <br /> • Ground green waste ranged from 126°F to 170°F. <br /> • Windrows ranged from 132°F to 156°F. <br /> • Finished compost ranged from 1580F to 128°F. <br /> • Finished product was 1460F <br /> • Overs were 80°F. <br /> 5. Litter was not observed on neighboring properties. Litter on site was moderate. <br /> 6. Records were reviewed. <br /> 7.
