Emptying the tank <br />Turn off the water supply and pump. <br />Empty the tank completely using the 1-1/4" drain <br />connection. <br />2. Physical Cleaning <br />Insert a high-pressure hose through the 1/2" fill <br />valve to clean the inside walls of the tank. <br />Remove debris and sediment down the drain. <br />3. Initial Rinse <br />Partially fill the tank with clean water through the <br />fill valve. <br />Wash the tank walls again and drain the dirty <br />water. <br />4. Disinfection <br />Prepare a chlorine solution (200 ml of 5% bleach <br />per 1,000 liters of capacity). <br />Introduce the disinfectant solution through the fill <br />valve. <br />Let the solution sit for at least 1 hour. <br />5. Final Rinse <br />Empty the tank down the drain. <br />Fill the tank with clean water and rinse again. <br />Drain the rinse water. <br />6.
