Water treatment equipment, 55 gallon drums of algaecide/bactericide, and asphalt are <br />stockpiled on site. Equipment was observed along the southwest and southeast fence <br />line. Equipment and algaecide were observed in the gun range area. Asphalt was <br />observed at the base of the eastern slope. <br />A.) All proposed postclosure land uses on closed sites shall be submitted to the EA, <br />RWQCB, local air district and local land use agency for review and approval prior to <br />commencing any construction or pre-construction activities for such PCLU." <br />B.) This site is not approved for storage/stockpiling. Remove all items stockpiled on <br />site. <br />27 CCR 21140 - Final Cover <br />Exposed waste observed on the upper southern portion of the old dumpsite and on the <br />slope. Continuation of area of concern. <br />A.) The final cover shall function with minimum maintenance and provide waste <br />containment to protect public health and safety by controlling at a minimum, vectors, <br />fire, odor, litter and landfill gas migrating. <br />B.) Cover area with clean soil to avoid exposure of waste and to ensure the integrity of <br />the final cover. <br />27 CCR 20820 - Drainage and Erosion Control <br />Erosion channels observed on the southern slope. No exposed waste was observed. <br />The drainage system shall be designed and maintained to: <br />A.) Ensure integrity of roads, structures, and gas monitoring and control systems; <br />B.) Prevent safety hazards; and <br />C.) Prevent exposure of waste <br />Inspection Report Comments <br />1. A minimal amount of spent shell casings were observed at the gun range. Ensure the shell <br />casings are disposed of properly. <br />2. There are no issues with site security and vegetation. <br />3. If owner or potential buyers are contemplating any Post Closure Land Uses (PCLUs) for the <br />site, please be advised that there are additional requirements pertaining thereto.
