All new submittals supersede previous ones. <br />3.Email notification to ust@sjgov.org to arrange the following inspection appointments. <br />All appointments must be scheduled at least 48 hours in advance. <br />a.Verification of removal of all residual liquids, solids, and/or sludges from tank(s), and of <br />tank cleaning conducted to California Code of Regulations Title 22 section <br />67383.3(e)(2) standards. <br />b.Witness removal of tank(s) and any applicable piping, sumps, and associated <br />appurtenances <br />c.Verification of tank ID number marked on the tank end using fluorescent spray paint <br />d. Witness soil and/or water sampling: Only results that are sent to EHD directly from a <br />third-party California accredited environmental laboratory with affixed chain of custody <br />will be accepted. <br />4.The owner or operator shall demonstrate to the satisfaction of the EHD that an unauthorized <br />release has not occurred. This demonstration shall be based on soil sample analysis (and/or <br />water analysis if water is present in the excavation). <br />1868 E.
