Big Lots filed Chapter 11 Bankruptcy on September 9, 2024, and have closed all stores na Ɵonwide. <br /> <br />Please review you Big Lots stores within your jurisdicƟons to ensure they have been properly closed out. AƩached is a list <br />of all the Big Lots stores that are sƟll listed as “Applicable + Always”. <br /> <br />To close-out the facility records in CERS the Regulators will need to do the following: <br />1. Set the faciliƟes' ReporƟng Requirements to "Not Applicable" - so that the facility is not viewed as being required <br />to report going forward. <br />o Using the "FaciliƟes" Search, search by CERS ID number and select the facility, then select "ReporƟng <br />Requirements" from the menu on the leŌ, edit this page and set all reporƟng requirements to "Not Applicable". <br />2. Transfer the faciliƟes to the Regulator's "Non-Regulated" OrganizaƟon - in order archive the facility record. (Non- <br />Regulated faciliƟes will not be viewable from the CERS Business Portal.) <br />o AŌer seƫng the ReporƟng Requirements to "Not Applicable", select the "Manage Facility" link from the menu <br />on the leŌ, then select the "Transfer Facility to Another Business" link, and select the buƩon on the following page <br />labeled "Select Non-Regulated FaciliƟes OrganizaƟon".
