A dOAQU1N Environmental Health Department <br /> CQLJIVTY AMENDED <br /> 8/15/2025 <br /> CP22 - HW LQG Inspection Report <br /> Facility Name: Facility Address: Date: <br /> SPEEDCO#944 1515 HOFF DR, RIPON June 10 2025 <br /> SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br /> (CLASS I,CLASS II,or MINOR-Notice to Comply) <br /> Item# Remarks <br /> Paper oil filters must be handled as hazardous waste through a licensed hazardous waste hauler or facility. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: Any person who generates a waste shall determine if the waste is a hazardous waste as <br /> specified in Title 22 California Code of Regulations(CCR). There are wastes that are listed as hazardous wastes. <br /> There are wastes that exhibit one or more of the hazardous waste characteristics:toxic, corrosive, reactive or <br /> ignitable. Title 22 CCR section 66261.2—Definition of Waste Title 22 CCR section 66261.3—Definition of Hazardous <br /> Waste A business operator shall keep records of any hazardous waste determinations made in accordance with <br /> Title 22 California Code of Regulations(CCR)section 66262.11 for at least three years from the date that the waste <br /> was last sent to an on-site or off-site treatment, storage, or disposal facility. The records may include Safety Data <br /> Sheets(SDS), waste test results or other hazardous waste determination documentation. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately discontinue disposing of used paper filters as recyclable. Evaluate each waste <br /> stream per Title 22 CCR, using SDSs,test results, or process knowledge to support your hazardous waste <br /> determination. If testing is required, follow Title 22 CCR§§66261.20-66261.24. Submit a written statement with <br /> supporting documentation, including: <br /> -Your hazardous waste determinations <br /> -Current storage and labeling practices for hazardous wastes <br /> -Disposal records for any hazardous wastes stored beyond allowable time limits based on your generator status <br /> This is (Class 2)Violation. <br /> 26 CA Code of Regulations 66262.34(a)3030012-Disposed of hazardous waste within 90 days of accumulation start <br /> date. <br /> OBSERVATION: The following hazardous waste containers were found on-site with an accumulation start date of <br /> greater than 90 days or no accumulation start date: <br /> -One blue metal 55 gallon drum located in the hazardous waste storage room was observed with an accumulation <br /> start date of 8/27/2022. <br /> -Two blue metal bins containers containing used oil paper filters are located outside of the southwest corner building <br /> were observed without accumulation start dates <br /> -Three blue metal bins containers containing used oil paper filters are located outside of the southwest corner building <br /> were observed without the hazardous waste labels, instead"Drained metal-clad used oil filters and Metal-Clad Fuel <br /> Filters Only!"observed. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: (a)a generator may accumulate hazardous waste on-site for 90 days or less (b)The <br /> beginning of the 90 day period is determined as follows: (1) if the generator does not generate more than 100 <br /> kilograms of hazardous waste or one kilogram of acutely hazardous waste (listed in section 66261.33(e))or one <br /> kilogram of extremely hazardous waste during any calendar month,the 90 day period begins on the date the generator <br /> has accumulated 100 kilograms of hazardous waste or one kilogram of acutely hazardous waste or one kilogram of <br /> extremely hazardous waste; (2)if the generator generates more than 100 kilograms of hazardous waste or one <br /> kilogram of acutely hazardous waste or one kilogram of extremely hazardous waste during any calendar month,the <br /> 90-day period begins on the first date on which any amount of hazardous waste begins to accumulate during that <br /> month. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately dispose of the hazardous waste stored on site greater than 90 days in <br /> FA0017929 PR0538579 SCO01 06/10/2025 <br /> EHD Rev.12/06/2021 Page 7 of 11 CP22-HW LOG OIR <br /> 1868 E.
