A dOAQU1N Environmental Health Department <br /> CQLJIVTY AMENDED <br /> 8/15/2025 <br /> CP22 - HW LQG Inspection Report <br /> Facility Name: Facility Address: Date: <br /> SPEEDCO#944 1515 HOFF DR, RIPON June 10 2025 <br /> SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br /> (CLASS I,CLASS II,or MINOR-Notice to Comply) <br /> Item# Remarks <br /> 32 CA Code of Regulations 66265.174 3030020- Inspects all hazardous waste containers at least weekly. <br /> OBSERVATION:The following facility hazardous waste containers are not inspected weekly: <br /> -One black metal 55 gallons drums containing used paper filters located in the hazardous waste storage area <br /> -One large table bin used to collect drained metal and paper filters used oil, observed in the hazardous waste storage <br /> area <br /> -One 8,000 gallon used oil tank observed in the hazardous waste storage area <br /> -Three blue metal bins containers containing used oil paper filters are located outside of the southwest corner building <br /> were observed without the hazardous waste labels, instead"Drained metal-clad used oil filters and Metal-Clad Fuel <br /> Filters Only!"observed. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE:The owner or operator shall inspect areas used for container storage or transfer, at least <br /> weekly, looking for leaking containers and for deterioration of containers and the containment system caused by <br /> corrosion or other factors. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately,the following containers need to be properly managed. Provide a corrective <br /> action statement and supporting documentation to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department within <br /> 30 days. <br /> This is (Class 2)Violation. <br /> 36 CA Code of Regulations 66261.7 3030058-Empty containers>5 gallons properly managed. <br /> OBSERVATION: The following drums were observed empty and without labels located outside of the southwest <br /> corner of the building: <br /> -Three red metal 55 gallon drums <br /> -Two black metal 55 gallon drums <br /> -One black poly 55 gallon drum <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: Empty containers which previously held a hazardous material, including hazardous waste <br /> must be managed per Title 22 California Code of Regulations(CCR)section 66261.7. Refer to this section and <br /> California Department of Toxic Substances Control guidance for more information. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately label all empty containers with the date they were emptied and manage within <br /> one year of that date. Manage the container per Title 22 CCR section 66261.7. Provide a corrective action statement <br /> and supporting documentation to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department(EHD)within 30 days. <br /> This is (Minor)Violation. <br /> 38 CA Code of Regulations 66265.192(a)3010025-Obtained a written hazardous waste tank system assessment prior <br /> to placing into use. <br /> OBSERVATION: This facility has hazardous waste tanks but no tank assessment documents.
