(Partner) on behalf of CRP Affordable Housing &Community <br /> Development, has prepared this Soil Gas Sampling Workplan (Workplan) for the property located <br /> at 601 North Central Avenue, Tracy, California (herein after referred to as the "Site"), for the San <br /> Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (SJCEHD) review and approval. Please refer to <br /> Figure 1 for a Site Plan of the Site. <br /> Purpose <br /> The purpose of the soil gas sampling is to evaluate the potential impact of volatile organic <br /> compounds (VOCs) to soil gas at the Site as a consequence of a release or releases from the <br /> Tidewater Association Oil Company (TAOC) pipeline cleanup site located south of the Site. <br /> Scope of Work <br /> The proposed scope of the project is to advance five borings to facilitate the collection and <br /> analysis of soil gas samples. The proposed boring locations are shown on Figure 1. <br /> The sample analysis will be performed by State-certified laboratories and the work will be <br /> performed under the responsible charge of a California registered Professional Civil Engineer or <br /> California registered Professional Geologist in conformance with the common requirements of <br /> the SJCEHD, Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) and the United States Environmental <br /> Protection Agency (EPA). <br /> Partner will perform the following tasks for the soil gas sampling scope of work: <br /> • Secure the necessary Boring Permit from the SJCEHD; <br /> • Prepare a Site-specific health and safety plan; <br />
