Biologic <br /> 2. Sources of electricity <br /> . Sources of motion such as machines or processes where movement may exist that could result <br /> to an impact between personnel and equipment <br /> 4. Sources of high temperatures that could result in burns, eye injuries or fire <br /> S. Types of chemicals used in the workplace <br /> 6. Sources of harmful dusts <br /> 7. Sources of light radiation, such as welding, brazing, cutting, furnaces, heat treating. high <br /> intensity lights, etc. <br /> S. The potential for falling or dfopping objects <br /> 9. Sharp objects that could poke, cut. stab or puncture <br /> 10. Biologic hazards such as Wood or other potentially infectod maternal <br /> c) For any hazards identpfied, ManagersiSupervisors will work with the Safety and Health <br /> Department to determine the suitability of the PPE presently available and as necessary select new <br /> or additional equipment. Care will be taken to recognize the possibility of multiple and simultaneous <br /> exposure to a variety of hazards. <br /> d) Industria[ Hygiene Surveys as described in the Industrial Hygiene Program and Sampling Plan. <br /> 4.2 Non-Routine Tasks <br /> aE) When implementing a non-routine task. material or equipment an assessment of the hazards in <br /> procedure_ following permit when required, or reading the SIDS before performing the task. <br /> b) ManagerslSupervisors and the partners who perform the new jot}task shall evaluate new <br /> anticipated work conditions or processes, via a Tack Based Job Safety Analysis(TSJSA) <br /> (APPENDIX DIX A), to determine what, if any. PPE is required to protect the worker while performing <br /> hiWher fob duties if not listed on the corporate JSA, Contact your Regional Safety Coordinator for <br /> guidance and approval <br /> 4.3 Personal Protective Equipment Selection <br /> 4.3.1 PPE will only be considered as a hazard control after ali other hazard control options have peen <br /> considered.
